Our Contracts Manager, Chris Duggins
After considerable sales experience with manufacturers of pallet racking and shelving, Tony Dilkes founded his own company, Artisan Storage in Ipswich. Artisan Storage offered the design and installation of mezzanine floors, pallet racking and shelving. In 1986, Tony assisted his wife June in establishing Concept Designs Partitioning to supply and install office partitioning and suspended ceilings. For better customer experience, Artisan Storage and Concept Designs Partitioning were consolidated in 1992 into Concept Design Services (UK) Limited.
Chris Duggins joined as the Contracts Manager, and June handed over her responsibilities to her daughter, Portlande. She is responsible for the financial aspects of the company. Portlande's husband, Chris Angwin, joined the company in 2016, succeeding Tony as lead director, though Tony continued to work in the business until his death in 2021. Chris Duggins is the entry point for business enquiries, assisted by Chris Angwin on aspects of pallet racking and shelving.
